Dr. Jennifer Minkovich - Founder

Dr. Minkovich is a lifelong cannabis advocate and a lifelong Pennsylvanian. She currently lives in Bucks County with her husband, and four fur-babies. She has an interest in legal reform in the cannabis space and continues to put pressure on PA elected officials to reform our non-evidence-based DUI laws and to strengthen employment protection for patients in the PA Medical Marijuana Program.

She earned her undergraduate degree from Temple University, and then attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she earned a graduate degree in Biomedical Science and then her medical degree. Dr. Minkovich then completed her Family Medicine residency in the Jefferson Health System.

Dr. Minkovich is a Healer certified Medical Cannabis physician and is Physician Member of the Society of Cannabis Clinicians. She views the physician-patient relationship as a partnership, and finds joy in advocating for her patients and in providing them guidance and encouragement in their individual paths to health and wellness.

Dr. Teiah Moore

Dr. Moore is a New York native, hailing from Rochester, NY. She attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, which is where her interest in the field of medical cannabis began. She then completed her Family Medicine residency at Lower Bucks Hospital here in PA, and was designated a Tandigm Scholar. She currently lives in the Bucks County area, is a practicing Family Medicine physician, and has completed the Healer certification program for cannabis practitioners to broaden her understanding of cannabis medicine even further.

Dr. Jennifer Patterson

Dr. Patterson started her medical training at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), where she earned her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed her residency training in Family Medicine at Lower Bucks Hospital, and then completed a fellowship in Geriatrics at PCOM. She is a truly intuitive physician who has the gift of being able to see a patient in the full context of their life. Her passion for botanical medicine and functional medicine, combined with intense caring and kindness make her a good fit for our practice.

Dr. Jessica Jackson

Dr. Jackson is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician from the Greater Phila area. She attended Temple University School of Medicine where she earned her medical degree, and then stayed in the area and completed her Emergency Medicine residency training program at Temple University Hospital. She works in both the clinical realm, caring for acutely-ill patients in the Emergency Department setting, and also in the educational realm, working as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine and training the next generation of EM physicians. She has an interest in Wilderness Medicine and Sports Medicine, and of course, Cannabis Medicine. We are excited to have her onboard.

Dr. Melissa Borrero

Dr Melissa Borrero is Board-certified in Family Medicine. She received her Bachelor's degree from Rutgers University and then moved across the campus to attend medical school at UMDNJ (formerly Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.) She completed her medical clerkships at Cooper Hospital, while living in Philadelphia. She subsequently moved to the NYC area to complete her Family Medicine Residency at the Institute for Urban Family Medicine affiliated with Beth Israel Hospital, and then returned to Philadelphia post-residency. Since being an Attending physician, Dr. Borrero has had diverse work experience - she has worked as a Geriatric House Call doctor, Urgent Care doctor, and currently is part of a Direct Primary Care Practice. She has an interest in Integrative, Preventative and Lifestyle Medicine, and sees Cannabis Medicine as a natural fit to her whole-person approach to wellness.

Dr. Quinton Campbell

Dr. Quinton Campbell is Board-certified in Emergency Medicine and is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He completed both his undergraduate degree and his medical degree at Florida State University, before moving to Philadelphia to complete his residency in Emergency Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He and his wife currently live in Philadelphia and recently welcomed a baby girl to their family. Dr. Campbell is happy to have joined the MMJ Advocate Doc team and looks forward to assisting patients with incorporating cannabis into their journey toward wellness.

 

Monica Taylor, CRNP

Monica is a Family Nurse Practitioner living in Pittsburgh, PA with her husband and three young children (and two dogs!). She has been a PA resident all her life and grew up outside of Philadelphia. She earned undergraduate degrees in Psychology (Harvard University) and Nursing (University of Pittsburgh) prior to receiving her Master of Science in Nursing from Duquesne University in 2017. Monica currently practices in Primary Care and has special interests in mental health, patient education, and cannabis medicine. She looks forward to collaborating with patients to support their individual needs and goals. Currently, Monica is pursuing her Healer certification for cannabis practitioners to better serve the educational needs of patients.

Tina Mourra, CRNP

Tina Mourra is a life-long holistic health enthusiast who has been working in healthcare since 2003. She graduated from St. Margaret School of Nursing in 2006 and received her Master of Science in Nursing from Duquesne University in 2017. Her nursing background includes Emergency and Urgent Care, Intensive Care, Long-term Care, and most recently Primary Care with a special interest in LGBTQIA+ healthcare. She loves to share knowledge to empower individuals to find balance and create their own path to healing. Prior to her career in nursing, she served in the Marine Corps as a flutist. She lives in Pittsburgh with her husband and two children, where she enjoys gardening and reading.
