4/20 Reflections

On this 4/20, let us reflect upon the progress that we have made as a country and as a global society over the past few years towards the universalization of cannabis reforms and re-acceptance of this truly amazing plant. The World Health Organization reclassified (de-scheduled) cannabis to reflect its medicinal uses, paving the way for wider opportunities for research to be done. In the US, 34 states have legalized marijuana either for recreational use or medical purposes. Many many people now have safe and legal access to cannabis, and many many lives have been improved by the use of medical cannabis. There is still much work to be done -- research to be supported, legal infrigements and inequities to be reformed, and stigmas to be overcome, but we are forging forward.

Wishing you all peace and wellness,
